Smart energy management platform

for energy cooperatives, clusters, industry

Distributed energy system and communities

We are witnessing an energy transformation that involves moving from a centralized energy system to a distributed one. The future energy system will be a federation of energy communities that meet their needs based on local energy sources. The besmart.energy platform was created to enable this change.

Energy management and optimization

For whom besmart.energy is intended

The besmart.energy platform enables complete service of the energy cooperative based on measurement data collected in real time from smart energy meters.

The platform monitors the cooperative's operation, enables the management and supervision of internal and external settlements and energy management based on advanced hourly predictions of the cooperative's balance and its members. Predictions are made based on a high-resolution digital weather forecast model and machine learning methods.

Energy management consists of controlling generation sources (e.g. biogas plant), energy storage facilities, hydrogen electrolyzers and fuel cells, and receivers in order to optimize the cooperative's balance and effectively use local energy sources and infrastructure.

The besmart.energy platform allows for detailed monitoring of energy consumption and production, as well as energy management in municipal facilities.

The platform collects detailed measurement data on energy parameters and its use. The data allows for determining energy consumption and energy production in facilities, its nature, detecting problems with energy production and monitoring billing.

Based on advanced prediction of consumption and production, it is possible to introduce energy management via modern meters, including remote control of lighting, heating and energy storage in facilities in order to optimize energy costs incurred by the municipality.

The platform also allows for collecting data on other media, e.g. water, gas and heat consumption.

The besmart.energy platform enables detailed monitoring and management of energy on an enterprise-wide scale.

The platform collects detailed measurement data on energy (including its quality) with high time resolution. The collected data can be used to determine energy consumption in specific industrial processes, and even to determine the carbon footprint of products in detail. Additionally, it is possible to create a full, digital twin reflecting the use of energy in the enterprise.

Detailed measurement of energy quality can allow for the detection of anomalies and counteract downtime in production related to problems with industrial automation caused, for example, by momentary voltage distortions in the network.

The platform can also be used to manage energy in the enterprise and optimize the use of renewable energy sources or power exceedances using local energy storage.

The besmart.energy platform allows you to operate an energy cluster based on measurement data collected in real time from energy meters.

The platform supports the tasks of the cluster coordinator and allows for energy trading in the cluster, i.e. ensuring an appropriate energy balance through the purchase and sale of energy on the market, energy trading between cluster members and energy management in the cluster.

The platform allows you to control energy storage facilities, receivers and selected industrial processes of cluster members in order to optimize the balance and maximize the use of local energy infrastructure.

The trading, energy management and control functions are implemented based on predictive models based on digital weather forecasts and machine learning methods (artificial intelligence).
